New Mums Yoga & Social Group
The perfect way to learn some gentle yoga and breathing exercises to help your body heal post birth, as well as the chance to chat over a cuppa about the highs and lows of motherhood.
Yoga is so good for post natal women because it is a gentle way of helping the body recover and gives you time to bond with your baby with breathing and relaxation techniques.
The class is suitable from birth and I can adjust any parts of it to your level depending how long ago the birth was and how you are feeling.
What makes these classes different?
Most of the mum and baby classes out there focus on the baby. I have heard many reports of classes being cliquey, or where there is no time for a chat with other mums. This class is all about YOU! Yes, your baby will be with you and be included in the class, but this is a nurturing and social class especially for you.
Please do not worry about whether your baby will need feeding or changing part way through class. It is a very relaxed class and you can attend to your baby's needs whilst still feeling part of the class.
How it will help you and your baby
You will learn how yoga can really help your abdominal muscles to close, strengthen your pelvic floor muscles and realign your posture after carrying your baby for 9 months and then,of course, giving birth.
The class will include a relaxation for you and baby to enjoy (as much as the babies allow!) and we will finish with a cuppa and a chat about anything to do with motherhood. It will be a place to share the highs and lows and get support without any judgement.
